Six to twelve years of age are what most people consider a crucial time for learning and skill development. Children in this age group are proficient in their vocabulary and problem-solving skills, yet they are not at the age where they want complete independence from adults. This makes the teacher-student relationship very strong.

In their development, the Junior Dragons need to develop core skills that are unique to this age group. This is the reason that we provide them with their own program that targets their stage of development in a manner that adapts to their needs. It’s a program full of fun, and achievement, however it is still aimed at building skills that set them up for further success.

The Little and Junior Dragons program incorporates self-defense, attribute and skill development, memorization, fitness and character education and development. Unlike other martial arts and other sport-based programs, our martial arts curriculum has been tested over our two decades of teaching and proven to be effective in an actual self-defense situation.

Our curriculum integrates physical fitness and self-defense. Children will learn a combination of the arts in order to help them achieve a totality of development in every range and skill set, while equipping them with the self defense, self confidence and self awareness.

Kids will develop their memory, understanding and fine motor skills through Kali. Their gross and fine motor skills, balance, agility and strength through Jeet Kune Do and a ground self defense, bulletproof and self awareness through Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.
Our youth physical fitness program is specifically designed for ages 6-12. It was created by a Master in Exercise Science with a Speciality in Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention, and is designed to improve coordination, motor skills, strength, agility, and flexibility.
